Get Involved in School

Submitted by Loretta Lemon

Taking an active role in your child’s education will help them in the classroom and beyond. Joining the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and volunteering in the school is very important.

Parents should visit school on a regular basis. Not only do you get to observe what’s going on in the school firsthand, you can also help teachers with tasks that would normally take them away from instructional time.

By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education. And it gives you the opportunity to make learning fun. smile
