Hear Children Out

Submitted by Kia Faulk

Listen. . . Listen. . . Listen!

Sometimes as the adult, we think we have all the answers and know more than our children.

As a mother of 8, I have learned that our children deal with a great amount of daily stresses. It’s important to listen to their concerns and let them know we are as much concerned as they are.

Their daily stress could be from how a teacher treats them, an upcoming test, their peers, or even not having what someone else has. Learn how to communicate with our children. Sometimes a day spent with their parents could mean the world to them.

Take the time to listen!
